My local Sprouts had berries on sale. A great sale. We stocked up. Now what? Eat lots of berries every day all day? Naaaah. How about I freeze them?

Are you excited for Spring? Of course you are! I know that for many of you Spring has already sprung. Not so much in our area. But it's so close.
I am eager for Spring and all the beautiful flowers that will soon be popping up everywhere. In the mean time I made these permanent arrangements to tide me over until I can go out and pick the real thing.
It was a cold and lazy Monday. I really wanted to do...nothing. But we still had to eat. So out came the crock pot. In went the pork shoulder and voila....
...moist and tasty Puerto Rican Pernil.
So in my last post I said I would share how I plan to keep all my lists organized and checked, checked, checked off.
Like many of you, I have tried different methods of keeping my life on track. There was...
* The " I only need one planner for all the different hats I wear" method.
* The "I will create a binder for each of my zillion different projects" system.
* Or the "Just give me a notepad and I'll just make lots of lists" technique.
Different methods work for different people, and there are so many choices out there. If you start researching goal achieving methods, planner styles, project binder ideas, you will soon see how many. TONS!
Today, I will share with you what I decided to try for 2015...
Here we are in 2015. Like me, I am sure you are all full of goals, plans, lists... you get the idea. Believe me, I understand. I have a few myself. Before getting in to how I plan to check as many things off several of my own lists, I want to reveal my word of the year.
This new word is full of meaning for me. Let me share my thoughts with you.
The weather outside is chilly and my lips are kinda...parchy? Dry! My lips are dry! I can't stand it.
What to do about it? Run out and buy lip balm made of a long list of unpronounceable ingredients, one with more natural ingredients but with a high price tag, or, make my own.
I decided on choice #3. I will make my own.
It's another damp and gloomy day here. Ugh! I hope you are having more sun where you are.
Today, I decided to work on some organizing projects I have been wanting to tackle. As I worked on these projects I also came up with a few ways to reuse some packaging that would usually be thrown out. Maybe you could use some of these ideas in your home...
HELLO EVERYONE!!! I am happy to be back after a week off. I hope you are all doing fabulously.
So I have several friends who don't crochet but would like to learn. I thought it would be encouraging to them to have a project they can make right from the beginning, using only chain stiches.
Maybe you would like to make one too...
Hello my friends. I am just stopping by with a quick message to let you know that we will not be posting this week. We are taking some time off for some classes.
In the mean time here is an idea for you to try...
Finally, I am making laundry sauce. I have wanted to try this for so long. Why? Because it is a space saver. I make my own powdered laundry soap and I like it. However, because I like to make it in large quantities I have to shuffle a large bin of laundry soap from one place to another because I really don't have the room for it in my little laundry nook.
Now all I have to store are these...
Would you like to make some with me?
