So I started out with a book. (It has to be a pretty skinny one, about 3/4". Any fatter and you will need to pad it a lot.)
You will also need:
scrapbooking paper ( I found this stack at Walmart for only $5.00)
fleece (to protect keys and screen)
craft or white glue
mod podge (this was an afterthought but I think it makes for a sturdier project)
Measure the endpaper height and width. Measure the inner spine.
Glue down your end papers. Making sure you glue the edges well. Then spread Mod Podge over the entire surface. The Mod Podge was an afterthought. But I think its a good idea to strengthen the papers. Don't worry about the bubbles. Push them out as best you can using your fingers or your sponge brush. Brush on at least one more coat, pushing bubbles out. Let dry thoroughly.
The Ice Cream Run
Soon this arbor will be covered with fragrant Wisteria, this fountain will be flowing...
Note: Another option is to glue the fleece to the inside of the front cover.
