It's fun to examine all the options out there. And let me tell you there are many.
This year I used a compact size Franklin Covey with the "Her Point of View" inserts. I liked it, though I found it a bit small. And I found that I don't need a day on two pages.
When journaling, I do not feel that I need to fill pages and pages. I just need to write "something". Even if it's just to jot down a few things I am grateful for "today." Here are two of my journals. I used the black one to write my thoughts, poetry, quotes and favorite scriptures. The blue notebook is strictly a daily gratitude journal.
I have been investigating a Japanese approach to journaling known as Hobonichi.
There is no need to purchase a Hobonichi notebook if you don't wish to. You can use anything you want. See how others have modified Hobonichi and made it their own.
As far as my personal planner goes, I have not decided if I want to use the same compact Franklin Covey. I am debating about going up a size.
As for inserts, there are soooooo many to choose from. You can get store bought ones or order online. You also have the option of printing your own when you purchase from Etsy. And of course some bloggers offer beautiful planner inserts to print as well. Here are some to check out.
I Heart Organizing. I Heart Planners
The other notebook I need to decide on is one for my Bible study. I want it to be hard cover with blank pages. If I cannot find blank pages I will be satisfied with a grid.
The search continues...
What about you? What method do you use for journaling and planning?
