Turn oven to 400 degrees. Cut flower tortillas into 8 wedges.
4 flour tortillas
Make cinnamon sugar by mixing together some sugar and cinnamon.
Lay the wedges on a cookie sheet making sure they are not touching. Bake at 400 degrees 4-5 minutes on one side then turn. Bake another 4-5 minutes.
Note: Don't get too distracted while these bake. They will look not quite done one minute and the next, they are charred. Ask me how I know...;)
These chips are so sweet and crispy. Imagine them with vanilla ice cream or crumbled as a topping for apple crisp. Mmmmm.
I had a few wedges that did not fit in the cookie sheet so I decided to try salting them.
I simply drizzled olive oil on them and spread it around. Then I sprinkled on some coarse kosher salt.
I baked them the same way as the sweet ones.
Make these Sweet Tortilla Chips tonight. Your kids will thank you.
