Earlier this week my husband and I went to the Museum. It also has a beautiful park we visit on a regular basis. I was anxious to see what was blooming. It was almost 80 degrees. A bit warm for Spring, but I'll take it over winter any day.
Seeing these beauties excite me. They make me want to start planting my own.
Just imagine you and your friends here.... Lunch, book club, girl talk.
Or... maybe you want to do some writing, or be alone with your thoughts.
Azaleas are in full bloom.
Or so I thought. Then BAM! the next day temps dropped. I mean DROPPED! Fifty degrees or more. Ugh! Now it's 30 degrees, rain, sleet, high winds. Even my pansies are shivering. And I already put away my heated mattress cover, brrrrr. So now I am sitting here under a blanket on my couch, wishing Spring would come back.
Thank you for stopping by my creative hub. I am a long-time lover of all things made by hand, repurposing, crafting, cooking, decorating, traveling, reading, writing... So you can expect to find a little bit of everything over here.
